Moolarben Coal Operations manages and maintains an extensive industry standard Environmental Monitoring program. The Program includes monitoring of a range of environmental aspects including noise, air quality, blasting and surface and groundwater quality.
The Environmental Monitoring Program also includes flora and fauna studies, pre-clearing surveys, stream health monitoring and includes a wide range of data relating to mine site rehabilitation.
Monthly Environmental Monitoring Reports prior to September 2011 are removed from the Moolarben Coal website, but are still retained on file. If you would like copies of older reports, please contact Moolarben Coal using the methods shown on the Contact Us page.
